Home » Leadership & Service NewsBoultinghouse brings home scholarshipJuly 3, 2008 By Wynette Jameson of Clear Creek High SchoolHayley Boultinghouse, HiLife editor and staff member for three years was chosen as one of only thirty Houston area teens to attend the month long workshop at the Houston Chronicle. She not only learned a great deal about the workings of a large metropolitan newspaper but also brought her own unique talents to the table. Boultinghouse interviewed the iconic rock group ZZ Top and went on a variety of trips with other students as they shadowed reporters in and around Houston. For her efforts, she won a Houston Chronicle scholarship which is renewable on an annual basis. Read more at the Chronicle website Scholarship Story.
